One thing that I adore about Etsy is the sense of community. Everyone seems to be working toward a common goal, and truly willing to help one another out along the way. EtsyMoms Work Hard Treasury

It's been wonderful being a member of the Etsy community for the past 10 days. I have had the opportunity to meet a hugely diverse group of people who all have at least one thing in common: creative energy! They have been very welcoming and endlessly helpful. It's been so inspiring to see their amazing creations and learn from their experience. On a personal note, it's been wonderful to be recognized as an artist.

I didn't expect to also be recognized as a mother! I was recently accepted into the Etsymoms Street Team. I can't wait to get to know these great ladies. Over the weekend I was fortunate to be accepted into a group of exceptionally talented women, Designing Swanky Moms. The group is open to any creative mamma, but also has a great Street Team presence on Etsy. Q: What or who inspires you?
A: So many things inspire me - a lot of my designs are inspired by things I see in nature, like the ocean or a really beautiful plant.

Q: What powerful, creative woman do you love?
A: My mom. :)

Q: Any tips on juggling motherhood and a business?
A: I'm expecting my first child in February, so I can't speak from personal experience yet. I imagine being good at multitasking is a plus, and having lots of emotional support from family.
